EGGER EUROLIGHT® Decor is the innovative, lightweight wood-based material to meet increasing demand for greater design flexibility. The sandwich board construction offers a generous material thickness and robust load bearing strength which ensures EUROLIGHT® satisfies the most contemporary furniture and interior design requirements. From an aesthetical viewpoint, thicker materials are increasingly associated with higher quality, but from a practical viewpoint, the lighter weight allows easier handling and reduces transport and installation costs.
EGGER is the first manufacturer to develop a range of decorative, melamine faced lightweight boards. EUROLIGHT® Decor offers the same surface quality and choice as the EURODEKOR® range and is also available with matching edging. EUROLIGHT® is a composite board made from high-strength 8mm EUROSPAN® raw chipboard (E1 P2 CE) top and bottom layers together with a robust honeycomb core. The thickness and quality of the surface layers allow frameless fabrication using conventional machinery and can be either melamine faced or bonded to a laminate or veneer.
